New gigs baby!!!!
Yup, finally! Took the summer off but new songs and new gigs. Whoo hoo!!
House of Blues acoustic show (at the Sunset Strip local) with pals including the amazing Helen Slater and Tracy Newman on Sat, Sept 18th (look them up, you'll be amazed- other guests and artists to be announced too)

And then the Boy Scouts of America's 100th birthday party for 5,000 Boyscouts and volunteers at the end of the month. Yay!!! (love those khaki shorts!) I wrote a song for them, "Everybody Loves A Boy Scout!". They are sooo cute! Mostly wrote it at my friend, Patty's house in San Juan Capistrano while taking a break from the beach.
Her neighbors probably wondered what the music was, lol.
But I did have one fab fan. No kidding, there was this awesomely huge lizard doing push-ups under a troll (yes my sweet Patty has a troll and fairies too) in her back yard while I was playing. He was totally vibing to the song I swear..... so wish I'd gotten him on my iPhone video. Sigh... next time. My number one fan in SJ.

I had an awesome jog to Dohey that day too, and then Kandi helped me pick out a full length wet suit (yeah, I know I am a total wimp in the cold California lower Pacific, what cat I say? I will always miss the warm temps in Kona!
