Tonight, at the pool was the first ever meeting of me teaching my girlfriends, Kate and Nena guitar. It was so cool....
They are so hungry to learn. I've never taught guitar, but it was a joy.
I made up things like when explaining an "A" chord, how for little hands like ours, if the three fingers needed, lean against and support each other, it's much easier.
I called it the "Three Girls In A Row" chord.
Hey, it was darned cute to US!
What can I say, if you don't already know that I just have a little party going on inside my head almost all the time, well then you surely don't know me yet.
They were awesome though. Super achiever Kate was hilarious with how serious her face would look sometimes. They are both wonderful girls, my kind of island people.
So this will be just the first of many get togethers, I'm sure. Pizza, girl talk, jacuzzi, and guitar lessons. I'm hoping eventually songwriting lessons too. Oh my Gosh, did we talk about men! Whoa!
Oh and I played them the two new songs 'Every Song Sings Her Name' and 'Head Shaped Hole In My Wall'.
'Every Song...' might just be my very favorite song I've ever written, I was so thrilled that they loved it too. 'HSHIMW' is just one of those extremely hooky and we all know that guy kinda songs.

My voice has been beyond sketchy or I'd have already put at least a GarageBand version up. I hope I sound decent by Saturday...
