Here's where I plan to debut more of the 'in progress' clips and casual photos. I still so don't know what the heck I'm doing but Emily James has promised to help out. Thanks, Em. Keep an eye on the site, it could go from geeky to better hopefully soon. :P
I attended the NCCJ (then called the National Conference of Christians and Jews) "Anytown" camp before my senior year in high school. That along with Up With People forever changed my view of the world and changed my life. Different isn't bad, it's just.... uh different. You don't need everyone to think like you and look like you do you? Differences are not to be tolerated (I think the term "tolerance" is patronizing - how very BIG of you!) but to be celebrated. Be proud of who you are and celebrate who we all are. What a glorious mixing pot. See the world. Feel the people. Love life with all it's seasons and colors and sounds.
Amazing player, amazing heart. I love you Don!
Mahalo ke akua I found her! More like a physical therapist/yoga instructor, she's amazing!
Jerry Mooney is brilliant, funny and kind. He knows his craft and wins! If you ever need an attorney, he's the guy. :-) And this firm understands New Media uses, not always easy to find that in a lawyer as that part of the industry changes so rapidly. Use him to cover your behind, BEFORE you start a project!
Dan's my man when I wanta have a blast and sound great too with REAL drums. He's so musically intuitive, fun to work with at all hours and handy in the Eagle Rock section of LA!
So you can know the conditions.
If you ever wonder who's fault it is... I still hear Phil's voice in my head sometimes when I'm writing. Took part in his old SGA workshops at the CNN building on Sunset long ago. "A Room Up For Rent" was first heard in that group. It was a magical time, learning and growing with great friends that I still have today. Phil taught me the craft but also helped me to fearlessly find my own voice as a writer and I am forever thankful.
Just makes my heart smile. Watch the videos. Smooth....
Soothes my soul, truly.

People kept telling us we needed to meet and work together so finally me and Seti are now. Awesome studio!!
Timmy is my bestest buddy, if you are having a wedding here on our island, he's your pro guy!
If you need immediate relief, long to unbreak your heart or just get yourself to do the things that you know you want to do in your life, my good friend Sundi can help you with EFT.
So talented and accomplished as a sitcom star and now also a recording artist. Jenna has an awesome voice and here on the island (yeah I really do work here too) we just wrote the funnest song together!! Look for her record in 2007.
If you are in the San Francisco area try to get a ticket to this great show. My buddy Marty Axelrod and his wife wrote it.
"Would You Could You" Won!! The Maxell Song of the Year which is JLSC's Top Prize (out of over 30,000 entries too, wheh!) I entered six ways (not the most decisive girl ya know?) and won 4 ways. :) "WYCY" won not only the Top Prize but also Grand Prize in Country and top 10 in Pop. And "Room" won top 10 in Country too. I told you I was lucky.
Christin is my girl! My Texas co-writer/best buddy, we are in the process of writing just the coolest, quirkiest songs. When we are together, we sooo laugh! (I would now insert a very Mary-Christin-ism here but it would just sound stupid to ya, so what can I say?)
Guess who won 3rd prize overall with my song "A Room Up For Rent" in the USA Songwriting Contest ?!
Great organization for singers/songwriters/musicians!
The coolest little funky, Berkeley-ish kind of listening room around. You can even watch a show lying on a bed in the audience. Or you can sit on your own bed and catch their webcast on your computer every night.
Oh, and there's a video download of a very Mary live performance of "A Room Up For Rent" on their archives page.

Super generous heart, amazing range of incredible writing, she will so move you...
Remember gigs with Loren playing lead guitar? Miss playing with him but happy for this busy, busy boy, he's hit the country charts with The Drew Davis Band.
A wonderfully supportive group of talented women which gave many of us a great start!
All I can say is Reiki and Dan are both pretty darned amazing. Check out the healing night the 4th Friday of every month in San Juan Capistrano.
Gail's such a wonderful, moving writer and performer, her music and her big heart continue to inspire me. I first saw her in Maui in 97 and I've been a huge fan ever since.
She did the back up vocals on the CD. Great voice!
EFT. Okay, it's the goofiest looking thing, tapping on acupressure points on your face etc., but hey, it REALLY works. I love to teach this technique to people for free too, so just ask me about it.
Also a winner at Wildflower, great contemporary folk songs and a great guy too!
